Designed to integrate into the landscape, Mountain Retreat by Fearon Hay, is a small cave-like dwelling, set within a high country station over Lake Wakatipu, Central Otago.

A place of shelter and retreat, its rendered stone exterior and ash timber and concrete interior, connect directly its surroundings, while carefully framed views maintain a strong connection to place.

Ambitec Suave, applied in a soft grey two-tone combination of Tilt Slab Dark and Tilt Slab Light, introduces subtle movement across the linear ceiling, complementing the home's robust material palette while drawing the eye toward the landscape beyond.

The result is a place that feels both sheltered and connected, deeply anchored to its Central Otago landscape.
